As a writer, educator, Human Design mentor and lifelong experimenter who's fascinated by human behavior and connection, I'm on a mission to help people of all ages to make good use of their strengths & understand how to eliminate setbacks so they can rise to their full potential. With 10 years' experience writing and editing professionally, a 10-year career as a judicial court stenographer, and a 3-year immersion in the study & analysis of Human Design, one might say I have a pretty strange mix of skills. I, however, understand my nonlinear path, and know that my blend of strengths, perspectives & experiences makes me uniquely, and refreshingly, qualified to guide others -- even through their most destabilizing life changes.My most recent pivot is toward early childhood education: Everything I've learned as a mother, professional, and student of human behavior has me thrilled to now be enriching the lives of our youngest learners as a Pre-K Teacher, so that the children under my care develop not just core academic skills, but most importantly, healthy social and emotional awareness that will benefit them for a lifetime. Reliable, intuitive, creative, compassionate, efficient, trustworthy and known for delivering top-quality work, I've been called a 'unicorn' by past writing clients, 'innovative' by others, and 'super-easy-to-talk-to' by both podcast guests and Human Design clients. (The four-year-olds I work with simply greet me with warm hugs!)I'm also motivated, fiercely independent and willing to roll my sleeves up in any role. I've worked hard since the age of 11 when I got my first newspaper delivery route, and I haven't stopped working since.
