About Jee Leong Koh

I'm a writer, editor, publisher, teacher, and activist, originally from Singapore, now living in New York City. My book of poems STEEP TEA (Carcanet) was named a Best Book of the Year by UK's Financial Times and a Finalist by Lambda Literary in the US. My hybrid work of fiction SNOW AT 5 PM: TRANSLATIONS OF AN INSIGNIFICANT JAPANESE POET won the 2022 Singapore Literature Prize in English fiction. My second Carcanet book INSPECTOR INSPECTOR was released in 2022.
