- Azar Backend• Developed a data-driven Azar matchmaking system based on Apache Flink, with thousands of matches per second.• Improving match quality with a rule-based scoring system that dynamically controls target-to-target preference with multiple ticks (e.g. language/city matching)• Develop a push-based real-time data pipeline to send promotions to users who have just had a good matching experience on Azar• Implemented a real-time data pipeline for anomaly detection of attackers trying to exploit Azar vulnerabilities.

- Emoticon Service• Developed backend software for KakaoTalk emoticons, which have been sold to more than 20 million people in Korea with monthly revenue of 10 million dollars• Developed Emoticon Studio(emoticonstudio.kakao.com) to help creators make emoticons and manage their settlement using Kotlin(Spring), Ruby(Rails) and React• Developed an emoticon tab in Windows Kakaotalk to help PC users purchase emoticons in the native application• Improved users' shopping experiences in Emoticon Shop(e.kakao.com) with Ruby(Rails) and JavaScript- Advertisement Platform• Contributed data engineering for Kakao Ad platform which includes demand side, supply side and data management• Developed data pipelines with Flink using Kafka and Hadoop• Supported data extraction for analyzing ad data using Hive and Impala
