I led the coordination of external Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) studies and utilized the resulting data to foster internal awareness and generate actionable insights such as the model we use to benchmark products based on margin and sustainability impact, steering our organization towards sustainability. In addition, I manage and execute projects to address challenges across both my department and the broader organization. One notable achievement was developing transparent, client-facing reports on packaging data, which significantly improved our communication and accountability. This project involved leading a cross-functional team, tackling topics beyond Sustainability.I also support operational sustainability programs, focusing on water reduction, energy efficiency, Scope 3 emissions, and circularity. Additionally, I act as an internal sustainability specialist, providing strategic insights and solutions to tackle sustainability challenges. My objective is to embed sustainable practices in all our activities, driving impactful and lasting change.

At Avebe, together with a small team of proactive young colleagues, I was responsible for organizing activities for our young Avebe colleagues. Our goal is to foster an environment where young employees can connect, learn, and grow together. We had on average each month an activity and also introduced new initiatives events designed, for example a leadership day, to create a positive impact within the organization. Additionally, we’ve successfully maintained ongoing successes such as company visits, board discussions, and our highly anticipated annual pub quiz which engages the entire organization with great enthusiasm.
