We are involved in maintaining an environment consisting of multiple database andapplications . involving PROD, QA, DEV and Test instances on HP-UX ,Linux, IBM AIX platforms.

• To accept requests tickets via Service Desk tool for any problem related to Database Administration and to resolve the same within SLA (Service Level Agreement) like space issue, problems related to backup and performance etc. • R12 Support of 3 Node Apps Tier on HP-UX• Sound knowledge of utilities like Exp and Imp FNDCPASS, FNDLOAD, Adadmin, Adctrl, Adpatch, Autoconfig etc.• Applying of data fix in DEV, QA and PRODUCTION Environments.• Monitoring Concurrent managers • Bouncing the Concurrent/Application services.• Configuring Admin Nodes for Concurrent Managers.• Applying Hot Patches and Cold Patches for Oracle Applications.• Troubleshooting of Mobile Application Services.• To check Oracle Application services like Form Server, Report Server, Concurrent Manager to ensure availability at specific scheduled times. • Upgrade of database from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.4.• SQL Tuning.• Involved in Building database clone shell script.• Creating new Environments/Databases (OTM, SOA, EBS) as per client requests.• Other Database Administration activities like User Creation, Tablespace Creation, Space Management, Access Control, Resolving lock problem, analyzing, rebuild indexes etc. as required time to time.• Involved in Administration like User creation, Assigning Groups, Giving Privileges, Creating Folders & Assigning Permissions, Replicate folders from one Repository to another.• Application Cloning (Single Node environment and multimode environment) for Development, Testing Environments from production.• Monitoring and resolving database issues on Production, Development, Test Environment.• Attending Customers, Developers issues over the Database.• Monitoring alert for Production, dev and QA system.• Maintaining and monitoring the Oracle Application Production database.• Handling/supporting technical issues related to Application and database including patch management and dealing with Oracle Support.
