Over 27 years of experience in managing the design team in preparation and checking documents & drawings on various EPCM Projects.As a Drawing Design Department Manager, core function is to manage a team of Sr. Designers, Designers & Draftsmen to deliver the project within agreed schedule & budget.Auxiliary functions include the following:- Assignment of work / activity for each team member with clear inputs & deadlines.- Technical / professional assistance to the team during the execution of the project.- Identification of training needs of the individual & liaise with HR/L&D department for organizing training.- Assessing competency of the team member and identify gaps which requires training.- Developing and grooming the potential team member for roles with larger responsibilities.- Feedback to the Engineering Manager / HR about the performance of the Individual and the whole team.- Prepare and conduct Annual appraisal for the department personnel.- Assigning tasks / goals per member, to be met during the course of next year.
