At the age of 11, my father asked me where do I see myself in the next ten years. It feels like a big question for 11 years old, but I expressed my desire to become an engineer one day. Since then I have found engineering quite intriguing day by day. Unfortunately, I lost him the past two years of this conversation but this conversation has become fuel to my motivation. I continued my journey to live my dream as an engineer. I earned my B.Tech. with electrical engineering. Out of many fields of electrical engineering, I found myself enjoying the subject of the control system. It was March 2018, when my profile got selected as a summer intern at SUNY Binghamton. Here I got introduced to Machine Learning and its applications. I got mesmerized by its usefulness and rising scope in the industry. Since then I am working with Machine learning. My undying passion for engineering the solution has led me to Binghamton University to get my master’s degree in Computer Engineering. Here, I found myself working with machine learning and enjoying it more than ever before. I took an AWS project as a part of my Reinforcement Learning class. From my performance, my professor asked me to guide a class with their course project. Currently, I am working on my final year project on the concepts of Machine Teaching, a subtle way to combine different branches of machine learning with reinforcement learning. Recalling the conversation between a son and father that happened almost 12 years ago, I am getting my graduate degree this May. In these years I have identified my skills and refined them. I am self-motivated and a team player. There’s more to learn, more to explore, and more to realize. I will keep learning. Now as I am graduating, I want to offer my skills to a suitable employer. If my resume is suitable for jobs you are aware of, I will be grateful to receive your recommendations.
