Non-Conformity (NC) Treatment for Airbus Single Aisle Aircraft- Working on a high-risk, high-priority project for Airbus Single Aisle production line, which is the backbone of Airbus global operations. - Performing SAP-based analysis to identify non-conformities, interpreting 2D engineering drawings, and using Digital Mock-Up (DMU) models to assess and document affected parts and assemblies. - Managing stringent 12-hour resolution deadlines to ensure seamless production workflows and maintain quality in Airbus most critical product line. Drawing Sign-Off for A320 and A350 Aircraft- Supporting the Extended Enterprise team in validating pre-mod and post-mod configurations for A320 and A350 aircraft designs. - Ensuring manufacturability by adhering to detailed checklists and approving 2D engineering drawings for production under strict deadlines. - Playing a critical role in quality assurance and ensuring the readiness of designs for manufacturing processes. 2D-3D Automation Proof of Concept- Collaborating on an innovative proof of concept to address the industry-wide challenge of converting legacy 2D engineering drawings into 3D models. - Utilizing my passion for coding and expertise in machine learning to explore solutions that reduce lead times and streamline manufacturing workflows. - Contributing to a project with the potential to modernize manufacturing processes and tackle a major bottleneck in the industry.

Industrialization DepartmentIndustrial Design and Modelling team(IDMU)Developed a proof of concept to automate the comparison process of old and updated 2D engineering drawings using machine learning techniques during my internship at Airbus. The proof of concept was well-received and secured funding for further development to build a tool for broader use. The solution incorporates Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract textual information from engineering drawings, uses LabelImg for data annotation, and creates a custom dataset for training. Leveraging YOLOv8 for object detection and VGG19 for image classification, the project identifies differences between drawings. It utilizes machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch for model training and validation.Key Responsibilities:- Developed and implemented machine learning models to automate the comparison of engineering drawings.- Conducted data preprocessing, annotation, and training using OCR, YOLOv8, VGG19, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.- Secured funding for the continuation of the project and its integration into the existing workflow.- Continuously improving model accuracy and efficiency based on feedback and testing results.
