I carefully restrain animals to ensure the safety of both my colleagues and the patients. I also strive to create a calm and positive environment for the patients by talking to them, desensitizing them to my touch, and distracting them during exams. Welcoming clients and their pets is another important aspect of my role. Additionally, I assist my colleagues with various tasks, including pre-intubation for surgery, nail trims, ear cleaning, refilling prescriptions, and taking patient vitals.
