Whilst in partnership with Epiphany Promotions I built and developed my own direct-marketing company. This involved not only personally recruiting individuals but also teaching these individuals everything from how to sell - from scratch, to teaching the same indiviudals how to build their own successful brands and create a following as I have done. The direct marketing route that we used specifically was residential, in other words I was the person that you would typically avoid answering the door to. However, besides perceived limitations the opportunity was commission-only but also allowed for no capped earnings. Whilst representing a range of different clients, both profit and non-profit organisations I regularly excelled and outperformed coutnry averages individually, as well as a team. This experience of a self-employment type opportunity has changed my perspective entirely on how I view myself and others. My perspective shifted from "I have to go to work" to have "I have the ability to make the most of this day and push my business forward". This was and still is a huge dyanmic shift that has allowed for me to truly value each day, particuarly in a business sense.

I learnt to work alongside individuals as a part of a larger manufacturing process, in which there has to be smooth transitions between initial processing and care, to packaging and delivering. Here, I learnt how stock is managed on a larger scale, the significance of each role as well as the delegation of responsibility behind each role and how to communicate effectively with individuals whom worked towards the same product as myself.
