Having 8 months rough and tough experience in preopening property naming "The Pavilion Dharamshala by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association".Worked with first accounting team, was appointed over here & played main role in implementation of accounting reports with all concerned departments .Did manual accounting for 6 months and prepared reports like Flash, Food cost, revenue outlet related audit queries etc.,vendor ageing .Prepaired preopening inventory report of all departments....,Now rebranded as Radisson Blu Resort Dharamshala

As an Accounts Assistant at Club Mahindra Mashobra, I work within the Accounting team and am responsible for controlling the balance between hotel’s daily revenues and payments received. I work very closely with revenue generating departments, mainly the Rooms Division and the Hotel Outlets but I’m often dealing with people from a whole range of departments and roles so being able to build and maintain relationships effectively are important skill to have. I have a good understanding of the hotel industry, the processes and systems that are used and how these are used within our area of specialism.My main area of responsibility is maintaining accurate billing to hotel Creditor/Debtor. I also process daily Officers & Entertainment Checks (F&B discounts), controlling their proper authorization and ensuring these are handled in the correct manner. My other duties include reconciliation of FO c/out invoices.My daily routine also consists of supervising / assisting the Accounts Intern in performing General Cashier operations and in compiling the Daily Income Report. During other Accounts colleague’s annual leave, my duties extend to the Accounts Receivable area such as maintaining daily banking records, distribution of payment received, closing banqueting accounts and invoicing.Working as part of the Accounts team I must keep to strict financial deadlines which can be quite demanding but I enjoy meeting the challenge that this presents and I’m able to work effectively under pressure and yet still ensure the required level of diligence and attention to detail is maintained. I report to the Finance Manager and am proud to work within a team of fellow dedicated Finance colleagues ; we really do support and motivate each other and so maintain a good team spirit and pleasant working environment.
