Imds Compliance Engineer
CurrentCurrently working as Compliance- Reporting Engineer (ELV) in APA Engineering Services, ChennaiData sheet preparation according to Customer like (Renault, Nissan, Volkswagen, Ford, Daimler etc.) standards or organization Knowledge on component Material declarations and analyze to find the presence of any REACH-SVHCs & take out SOC report.Knowledge on PLM/ERP tools like TcEC, GBC, QAD, etc. Worked in IMDS A2 Optimizer. Have knowledge in IPCA, Enovia.Understanding and evaluating of the chemical composition of materials namely, metals, plastics, elastomers, DBE, DBP, HCB, DHP etc.Follow-up with global supply base to report their products to IMDS.Data quality checking of MDS reported by our suppliers and decision making of accepting or rejecting supplier’s MDS with respect to various OEM quality/standards.Leading conferences/meetings with Product Development teams.Creating substance database to meet various compliances by OEM's as per GADSL, REACH etc.Assisting the Team Lead in all the process related issues including the preparation of final report for client and maintenance of various track sheets, also attending conferences with Program Managers/ Product Engineers related to Product Compliance.Develop suppliers to leverage skills to manage IMDS reporting.Direct interaction with suppliers through email & telephone to receive their product IMDS reported as per standards and resolve their queries.Comparing and analysing various OEM standard to fine tune process quality.Adhering with ISO standard set by the organization for project/process requirement.Worked in Interiors, Climate & Electronics departments as Reporting Engineer previously.Knowledge in most of the OEMS criteria as we are working for TIER 1 Supplier.
