Current- Employee Relations
- Develops and maintains effective partnerships with the leaders in the assigned portfolio.
- Provides proactive HR guidance, direction and support on a full range of HR services, including performance management, disciplines, termination, and application of policies and procedures.
- Supports the implementation of the accommodation process, disability management, attendance management, injury/illness reporting, WSIB claims and appeals.
- Conducts timely and thorough investigations, including participating in fact-finding meetings, preparing interview questionnaires, preparing reports and presenting a summary of findings
- Maintains working knowledge of employment and labour legislation, best practices trends, etc.
