Duties related to Therapy treatments and documentation.Contact with HMO, PPO to verify coverage and get authorizations for treatment.Diagnoses treated include: joint replacements, CVAs, head injuries, wounds, cardiac conditions, amputations, various orthopedic injuries, plus elective surgeries and special diagnoses.Working directly with individuals and their representatives to insure proper care and procedures are completed according to insurance, state and federal regulations. MDS and Care Plan documentation with team meetings to inform facility staff of progress and goals.Experienced with direct customer contact and customer service. Daily management of the Therapy department, Required reporting, Progam development, Staff training.

Therapy contracted in by Sundance, then hired in house in the same position. Currently TPM in the same facility under Enduracare.

Marketing the facility to increase Resident admissions and Staff recruitment. Admissions coordination and oversight on potential admits as well as follow up on additional needs concerning pay source and clinical needs.Ensuring the appropriate departments are involved in referral process.Development of marketing material for public as well as referral sources. Experienced with direct customer contact and customer service.Developed admission tracking to establish referrers and to target areas for increased focus and facility exposure.Developed data base of referring facilities with list of case workers and department contacts.Contact with multiple media outlets to enhance community awareness.Developed pricing strategies to continue to be competitive.Gathering and analysis of market data.Market share analysis to determine methods of expansion.Training of staff to handle referrals after hours.
