Maritime Compliance Lead Auditor carried out annual ISM ISPS and ISO 14001 audits on board the expanding Carnival Corporation fleet of cruise ships Ensuring that all shipboard operations and procedures are working in accordance with the Safety Management System (Fleet Regulations) and that all relevant international and flag state regulations are also being followed. Environmental Officer2003 Recruited by Princess Cruises to the new senior shipboard role of Environmental Officer. Answerable to the Captain on board and Vice President Environmental Compliance ashore. Responsible for a large cruise ship’s compliance with all international, national, local and fleet environmental regulations.

1990 Joined UECC as Second Engineer Officer on board modern pure car and truck carriers ensuring compliance to ISO 9002. Responsible for the running and maintenance of all engine room equipment and supervision of junior officers and ratings2001 (March) Appointed as Environmental Projects Engineer to carrying out ISO14001 project to ensure efficiency of vulnerable equipment. Surveyed all equipment used in the treatment of fuel, lube oils and bilge water. This included separators, filters and other treatment plant. Completed detailed reports and researched alternative equipment. Various alternative products fitted for assessment. 2001 (November) Appointed as Assistant Superintendent Engineer assisting in the administration and budgetary control of three vessels. Liaison with classification societies, contractors, agents and yards. Assisted in dry dock specification writing and the supervision of several dry docks and wet dock periods. Stood by the building and sailed on two of the fleets new vessels - Holland 1997 and Japan 2000Stood by in shipyard during vessel’s main engine renewal. - Holland.1999
