Working with the work stream leaders to coordinatie the contactors involved with the building of the Huntsville factory.

Promoted to the Global operations group. I was responsible for establishing the Quality system in a new Polaris facility in Opole Poland. Duties included specifying the equipment, working with the onsite buyer to locally source the equipment. CE and UDT certification is very demanding in Poland. I participated in the hiring process and training of the local quality personnel. Project was under budget and on time.

In 2010, I volunterred and was selected as an Ex Pat for the new Polaris Monterrey Mexico assembly plant. My role was to spec out and install a 2 million dollar state of the art quality lab in Monterrey, Mexico. Which included Welding, Engine Assembly and finished goods assembly. Project was on time and underbuget by 300k. In addition to managing the precurement, installation of all the quality equipment I was also assigned to establish all the quality criteria for the first engine line start up which included training the local sustaining QE's, In additon, I was assigned the role of acting as the sustaining QE for the second engine assembly line. In 2011 of my Ex Pat assignment, I was assigned to coordinate the installation of a new 2.1 million dollar final assembly line. I was also assigned during this time to be the Capital engineer for the entire plant. The budget and projects I was assignedTotaled in the range of 6 million dollars.. Every project I was assigned was completed on time and either on budget or under budget.

Provided leadership, training and support to achieve “World Class” quality by ensuring quality standards are met (internally & by outside vendors). Assisted in the design and installation of quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.

Championed and provided leadership, training, knowledge management and support to achieve “World Class” performance by improving processes, eliminating wastes and optimizing flow in all manufacturing processes. Educate and align employees to the principles, practices and philosophies of continuous improvement. Assist in developing the culture and aligning leadership to accelerate lean progress and provide traction for the business.

Supported the product development cycle, ensured effective new product introduction, and resolution of current assembly issues involving safety, quality and productivity. Worked intimately with the design groups to insure timely completion of projects within budget and seek out, evaluate, and coordinate new manufacturing friendly processes for incorporation into vehicles resulting in higher quality, lower cost, and increased value for the consumer.

Assisted and developed project scopes, budget, and schedule for projects in line with strategic plans. Managed projects to achieve schedule and budget goals and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Created and maintained project documents, facility drawings, and status reports for projects. Participated on teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
