JSJB Partners, LLC is a consulting firm that provides consulting services to Wealth Enhancement Group, LLC to assist and support the firm's financial advisors.

I collectively led the startup, growth, and success of Kings Point Capital Management, LLC (Registered Investment Advisor firm) including establishing the vision and overseeing operations, strategy, regulatory compliance, organizational culture/leadership, new investment programs, custodial platform structures, and investment advisor hiring, training, mentoring, and development. • Built the scalable, organizational infrastructure that included creating, communicating, and modeling the “client-first” approach to business and establishing a “One Team, One Dream” culture as the catalyst for the firm’s success. • Recruited, interviewed, and hired a high-performing team of investment advisors and wealth managers and created a compensation structure that attracted top talent and retained key employees. • Directed the firm’s growth from a start-up to ~$1.8 billion AUM with multi-year recognition in Forbes and as one of Barron’s - Top Wealth Advisors in Tennessee. • Trained each new hire on an educational, consultative approach to selling/closing business and provided coaching/feedback on sales style and messaging to reinforce Kings Point’s reputation. • Managed multi-state operations (NY & TN) and encouraged employees to take ownership of their roles and make decisions in the best interest of the firm and clients. • Maximized profit growth to ~$5.6+ million annually by continually analyzing monthly, quarterly, and yearly expenses, implementing cost controls, and making operational adjustments. • Co-developed/launched a new product (WealthScope), an innovative reporting tool that consolidated the traditional, complicated industry reports into a simplified report with easily understood investment data for clients. • Led strategy that differentiated Kings Point and converted clients from industry leaders by redesigning/simplifying fee schedules, internally managing investor securities, and building relationships with “Centers of Influence.”

I leveraged previous experience with Goldman Sachs co-found and establish this investment firm by communicating vision with the team of 5 investment advisors, influencing strategic direction, driving growth of AUM to $600+ million, building a high-quality client service experience, and providing equity research/trading analysis for the firm’s investment platform.

I was hired immediately after completing MBA and achieved the 24-month new business development goal after only ~18 months. Following this success, I joined an existing office in Memphis, TN, converted the business from commissions to a fee-based model, and grew to 3 advisors and 5 support staff team with AUM increasing to ~$1 billion.
