Jeff combines extensive Investment Banking and Business Development experience along with a vast knowledge and expertise within Commercial Real Estate and the Capital Markets to provide Strategic Advisory and Structured Finance/Investment Solutions to a broad array of corporate and institutional clients.As Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Green Circle Capital Group, Mr. Baum is focused on the origination and sourcing of both debt and equity providers for commercial real estate transactions. While working with Harborview Capital Partners, Jeff managed the firm's Structured Finance platform where his team was responsible for the sourcing and placement of both joint venture and preferred equity as well as the origination of mezzanine debt for clients of the firm. He also developed and oversaw the firm's Loan Committee and approval process for both debt and equity transactions. Before joining Harborview, he had served as a Senior Vice-President at SunTrust Capital Markets, Inc. (now Truist), where his primary responsibility was to generate and develop relationships with various types of counter parties for the purpose of originating, financing, securitizing, buying and selling commercial and residential real estate loans on both a principal, as well as agency basis. Previously, Jeff had been a member of the Sales and Trading teams at both Lehman Brothers and Paine Webber (now UBS) in New York. He also spent time investing, managing, and trading a private investment fund for a Family Office, as well as, sourcing, analyzing, financing, and investing in various real estate opportunities on a principal basis.Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Yeshiva University in New York and holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses through FINRA.
