• Oversee operation, safety, compliance, and quality of the earth’s largest oil re-refinery. Directly responsible for facility production and operating cost budget.• Played key role in process optimization resulting in 20% production increase along with a 23% decrease in unit production cost.• Manage department of 26 operators/supervisors and facility’s PSM program.

• Planned a grass-roots expansion including technical feasibility, financial analysis, and product market analysis• Managed electrical and instrumentation budget and team of technicians.• Managed a 3 year control system upgrade and petrochemical unit revamp as part of a multimillion dollar plant expansion.• Responsible for optimizing production while providing entire facility engineering support: shipping/receiving, maintenance, laboratory, EHS, operations, accounting, etc.• Experience in the re-refining of waste oil plus emission control and water treatment

• International business experience with customers in 6 countries (India, China, Spain, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, and the USA) over two years.• Worked in small teams directly with customers, troubleshooting problems on multimillion-dollar startups with strict deadlines. • In charge of checkout, commissioning, and startup of instrumentation and process controls for international petrochemical units. Worked on over 21 different units.• Experience with design and operation of compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, fractionation columns, treating vessels, reactors, and many pieces of specialty equipment.• Solely responsible for training new field service engineers on multiple occasions

• Significant experience in design and troubleshooting of instrumentation, process controls, and safety systems for numerous multimillion-dollar petrochemical process units.• Developed and worked with mass and energy balances, PFD’s, P&ID’s, material selection diagrams, equipment specifications, and utility data sheets.• Worked with customers on extensive projects with strict budgets and deadlines
