Provides overall clinical leadership in behavioral health. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring integration of behavioral health into all functional areas of the health plan. Provides reliable assistance to the health plan medical director and clinical staff to assure effective integration of behavioral services into health plan medical management activities. Provide clinical oversight for MH/CD authorizations and conduct medical chart reviews as indicated. Leads behavioral health medical management initiatives for the health plan. Is responsible for provider education regarding best clinical practices, pharmacy utilization, quality improvement and responsible health care expenditures to improve clinical outcomes as related to MH/CD services. Assists in the inter-operation of medical policy for associates to facilitate the healthcare and behavioral health needs of the members.

Provide leadership in clinical research settings. Oversees the overall evaluation and development of healthcare solutions. Responsible for the management of the research side for Signature HealthCARE. Tests theories of healthcare application and practice in a real-world situation.

As co-Founder of Serenity HealthCARE, developed a model of care for clients with dementia and mental health utilizing both neurologic and psychiatric methods to improve overall function and brain health. Provides overall clinical leadership in behavioral health to over 130 long term care facilities.
