Since that time, LEMA has added GSMC Marshall, North Park, Kilgore and EXCEL ER. In 2016, LEMA is budgeted to treat over 180,000 patients. LEMA is dedicated to leadership, excellence and quality. Our leadership is evident in our communities, medical staff (5 individual physicians serving as Chief of Staff so far), state and national industry organizations (TCEP & ACEP) and an in house leadership program. GSMC Longview is a 412-bed, Level II regional trauma referral center, with an annual patient volume over 80,000 (including the Fast Track), a 30-bed ED, and 10-bed Fast Track. Advance Practice Providers (APP) cover 45 hours while physicians cover 54 hours. The Emergency Department at Good Shepherd is the largest in Northeast Texas. GSMC North Park is a 25 bed Free Standing Satellite ED located in North Longview. Physician staffing is 24 hours daily with 12 hours of APP coverage. The annual census is 24,000.GSMC Kilgore is a 12 bed Free Standing Satellite ED. Annual patient volume is 18,000. Physicians cover 24 hours daily with APP float coverage when needed. GSCM Marshall is a 130 bed facility located 30 minutes east of Longview. The state-of-the-art emergency department houses 17 rooms. Annual patient volume is over 32,000. Physician coverage is 26 hours daily with 14 hours of overlapping APP.EXCEL ER Free Standing ED's, with current locations in Tyler, Longview, Nacogdoches and more.PULSARA is a company started within LEMA that is now a industry leader for STEMI, Stroke with Sepsis and Trauma to follow.
