I was a graphic designer in the marketing department at a $10 million a year non-profit, the Denver JCC (Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center) and MACC (Mizel Arts & Culture Center). As a designer my job was to provide print and digital collateral for 13 diverse program departments. The material I developed had to convey a message to help sell the programs and inform through marketing pieces of all types. These pieces were both printed and digital, including ads, brochures, digital banners, web graphics, etc. Over time I grew and earned the opportunity to become the Creative Director of the marketing department. While continuing as a designer, as Creative Director I managed the design department. This entailed organizing and delegating workflow of graphic design projects for a fast-paced marketing department. Our annual calendar of events required on-time deliverables. I also have technical expertise in preparing project files for offset printing including knowledge needed to work up bids ensuring that projects remain in budget. I developed the logos and branding for several programs, and implemented JCCA national branding standards. I created festival programs and designed a yearly creative invitation package for fundraisers and opening night festival galas. I designed materials that were distributed throughout the metro area to promote Center programs, a monthly 16-page publication for Denver area Seniors and a bi-monthly 24-page full-color print publication including cover art design. I collaborated with the web developer to brand the web page. I built email blast messages and developed an iPad app for the Center. I was recognized as the Center’s 2009 Employee of the year.
