Was charged with assessing a new business, and it's operational issues. Projects included; evaluating staff and processes, and making needed changes to both. I instituted a new procedure for taking reservations, which made more sense for our business and for our customers, and to eliminate the stream of complaints received from customers. During the 2 1/2 month assignment, business grew by $43,000 and customer complaints were greatly reduced. New staff members were trained to perform better, and increase customer service, which lead to increased food and beverage sales.

Springfield, Massachusetts Area

Directed the overhaul of a Non Profit that had decreasing profits for the 3 years prior to my appointment as Operations Manager. During my tenure, I fostered a change to our customer service procedures, route operations, and brand awareness that helped lead to an increase of both poundage collected, and revenues collected. Under my direction, Hartsprings was able to increase our profits by $168,000 in a 10 month span. This directly affected the ability for BBBS to add additional staff, and programs for their mentoring operation.

Operated a very busy 48 lane bowling center, and a Regional Training Center. Was charged with the training of District Managers, General Managers, and Assistant Managers for 5 years, while running the day to day operations of my own facility. Was part of a team of GM's that wrote the AMF Operating Standards, and collaborated on the re-writing of the OJT manuals for the training dept. During my tenure, I took 2 under performing centers, and made dramatic increases in revenue, and profits, which lead to being named AMF Manager of the Year in 2007.
