Jeff Berg is Executive Chairman of Surfline, a digital media company that uses data, technology and curated content to deliver peak experiences to ocean enthusiasts such as surfers, mariners and fisherman. Berg has been Chairman of Surfline since 2000 (CEO 2015-2020), and also co-founded Swell in 1999, a direct marketer of surf apparel and accessories (sold to Billabong in 2009). He serves on the Board of Wren Silva and founded BringBackOurBeaches in 2023. Berg Chaired NTN Buzztime, from late 2008 to 2019; AccentHealth, from 95-2000, a network that provided segmented, patient education-oriented TV programming to over 10,000 medical waiting rooms. Mr. Berg has over 20 years experience as a professional investor, having founded Matador Capital Management in 1993, and before that 9 years at Raymond James Financial as an institutional securities analyst. Berg has been a conservationist since his early teens when his Dad's passion for fly fishing and the coastal waters of Florida rubbed off on him. He pilots an Aero Commander throughout Baja, Centro and the Caribbean in support of Surfline's swell modeling validation programs.
