During over 21 years as an background investigator Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) I have consistently exceeded expectations as evidenced in performance reviews and receipt of investigator incentive awards. I have served as acting District Manager and have successfully completed sensitive cases and investigations. I conduct check rides and investigate integrity concerns. As a field trainer since 2005, I have successfully trained and continue to assist numerous investigators while simultaneously exceeding expectations of a senior level investigator. I am routinely selected to coach struggling investigators of all levels, providing remedial training and lasting mentorship to improve their performance and production. I have a proven track record of effectively communicating with fellow field staff members, Team Leaders, and District Managers. As the Denver District FTO Lead I facilitated a primary line of communication between management and field staff. I continue to lead and guide investigators, reducing rework and improving quality and timeliness of submitted reports. I reinforce direction and focus to investigators district-wide on a weekly basis, with policy change updates, customer concerns/requirements, and reporting refreshers. As the Denver District Independent Contractor Liaison I served as the first-line supervisor for the contractor team consisting of 30 or more contractors as a collateral duty. Serving on the company’s Employee Action Committee and Training and Development Council, I worked closely with others in the region, engaging in problem solving and process innovation.
