Black Sheep helps people build their brands by improving those soft skills and increasing their confidence.Some ask why I named my company Black Sheep. One, opting out of the family business made me a black sheep (but selling Buicks wasn’t for me). And two, I believe we all need to be a bit of a “black sheep” in order to stand out from the herd in a crowded marketplace.My team and I provide executive coaching, consulting and training programs for delivering presentations, using strategic communication, influencing decision makers, building leadership brands and talking to the media.I know first-hand how communication shapes perception—and success. I’ve worked in talent management in Hollywood and as assistant to the executive producer of a prime time TV drama. I was a television news reporter, weather anchor and children’s show host, and I continue to work in front of the camera as an on-air host for the South Carolina Education Lottery.I have 20+ years experience coaching and training executives at some of the world’s largest companies including GE, Lockheed Martin, Kellogg’s, American Airlines, Procter & Gamble and NBC Universal. I’ve learned that while the skills we need are often the same, each person has unique strengths. Success depends on making the most of both.As a keynote speaker and author of "Unleash Your BS (Best Self)," I apply the same approach I teach—using stories to inspire, bringing humor and personal experience to make concepts easy to understand and apply.
