CurrentJeff Blake is a partner at Merchant & Gould, where his practice includes all aspects of intellectual property litigation and counseling, with extensive litigation experience in both the electrical arts and pharmaceuticals. Jeff has represented clients in federal district courts across the U.S., including cases involving telephony, microprocessor hardware and software, network security and automotive airbag deployment software. He also has represented major pharmaceutical companies in litigation brought under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, and in Section 337 actions before the U.S. International Trade Commission.Jeff has litigated actions enforcing the copyrights of major companies, negotiated the licensing of patent portfolios, and gained experience in misuse of Internet domain names under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.Jeff is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and numerous federal district courts.
