Project delivery to EDF Energy utilising Capgemini internal project methodology, including 18 months with additional portfolio management responsibilities. As one of three portfolio managers supporting the EDF project portfolio had management of a portfolio of 30-50 active projects spread across 5-7 project managers with a revenue around £1.5million.As a project manager executed over 500 projects using both Prince 2 and Agile methodologies, ensuring correct fit to meet the client expectations.Made a significant contribution to the creation of the project forecast and billing trackers, taking responsibility for more than two years for ensuring the financial tracking was completed and accurate from the client call logging system, allowing revenue charges of around £400k per annum to be recognised.Projects delivered involved Citrix XenApp deployment and upgrades. Desktop/laptop estate upgrade / replacement (circa 3000 devices). Multiple office moves (largest involving a building closure and moves of ~500 staff and all associated IT kit) and closures. Estate wide software standardisation and rationalisation. Mobile computing delivery using Windows 8.1 Windows-To-Go. Data centre and server migrations. Deployment and configuration of Night-watchman which recognised over £125k annual saving on power usage. Senior technical project lead on the separation of one quarter of the EDF Energy business to UK Power Networks.Worked on both accredited (Nuclear sensitive) and non-accredited infrastructure, so able to work in heavily regulated environments.

Technical project delivery and operational support to EDF Energy, utilising IT service operational skills and providing input into strategy.Promoted to Integration Consultant with a strong focus on dealing with major service escalations, project delivery and liaising with EDF Energy technical management teams. Assisted in the technical merger of SWEB / London and SEEBOARD creating an entirely new domain infrastructure for EDF Energy.From 2005 onwards project focus was strong, with achievement of Prince2 Practitioner accreditation. Projects were managed from inception to closure. Production of all relevant project documentation and required support level handover documentation.

Joined the SEEBOARD support contract as the Infrastructure Team Leader for Computacenter. Managed a team of six staff supporting around 200 infrastructure servers as well as WAN/LAN infrastructure spread across 15 sites. Weekly / monthly operating reporting, backups, upgrades and strong focus on documentation. Out-of-hours support provided for all major supported systems.

Moved into a full-time server infrastructure supporting role culminating with my role as a Senior Server Analyst working on the TSB Trustcard infrastructure estate. Carrying out support and maintenance on the Novell and Microsoft server estates. Planned and carried out small projects relating to server upgrades / installations as well as office moves. Provide out-of-hours support.
