Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station New Build

We were hired to bring modern project management practices and tools to the UK MOD (Ministry of Defense) procurement arm. My role has been strategy and process development as well as direct coaching of the teams delivering the capability required by the Royal Navy Command. I have daily contact with the project managers and team leaders to promote learning and uptake of the tools and processes that are at the core of good project management. We are teaching the DE&S (Defense Equipment and Support) organization the skills and discipline necessary to deliver projects consistently on time and within budget.

Project Controls team lead for a $600M new housing program to construct new communities for the people of Gabon. Training and mentoring for local hires to manage the program is the primary goal while seconded to the Agence Nationale des Grands Travaux, a newly established agency in the Gabonese government to manage national construction projects. In addition, full cost and schedule responsibilities for $300M conference facilities including daily management and coordination for five international design and construction contractors.
