Corporate Account Executive
Streamlined Ford's technology department by implementing a suite of Microsoft products which increased the account size from $1M in 1990 to $10M in 1999.Replaced all existing competing software at Ford with Microsoft, from desktops to email to file/print servers. This included removing Word Perfect and PROFS in each of their largest world-wide accounts.Responsible for developing Fortune 100 account relationships for Microsoft which are still viable clients today. Developed Chrysler from a one product presence into a full Microsoft desktop system worth nearly $5M annually, even though IBM was willing to give away the competing product to Office to keep the business.Oversaw all sales activities and was the primary contact for the accounts mentioned. Tasks included sales, training and price negotiation. Managed all sales activities within Ford, Chrysler, Owens-Corning and others. Operated on-site Microsoft sales/support office within Ford.Managed a virtual tech support team, bringing in the right person at the right time, whether it be technical or high level executives.Executive partner at Microsoft was Steve Ballmer, former CEOMaintained quality control/satisfaction records and constantly sought new ways to improve customer service and increase sales.
