I have spent my entire adult life in the mining industry. Starting as a laborer and working my way up through equipment operation into management roles with increasing responsibilities. I particularly enjoy working on international projects. Everyday has its own challenges waiting for a solution. I enjoy working with a diverse group of people. I specialize in safely maximizing efficiencies of large mining equipment. Drilling, loading and hauling are my specialties. Some recent examples:• Implementation of a leadership audit program using iPads in the field has provided targeted focus on areas needing improvement. Stockpiles, road segments and loading faces have all improved substantially providing a safe work area for all employees.• Gaining 12% operating efficiency (30% Utilization) with a 793 fleet. These gains offset additional CAPEX acquisitions.• Results from a deep dive into drilling programs resulted in a 23% gain in efficiency. This enabled the client to eliminate CAPEX acquisitions for additional drill capacity. Reduced operating hours allows them to perform strategic major component replacements without affecting broken inventories. • Developing a KPI report and implementation of targeted training provided a 7% increase in loading capacity, which allows the client to take full advantage of the operating efficiency of the 793 fleet. While working with VISTA Training, Inc., I filled up my passport twice in five years. I did extensive travel providing training and operational analysis for various clients. I enjoyed visiting many different mining operations. I can honestly say I learned something every place I went. That kept it exciting.I am a hard worker who takes pride in my work. I am not satisfied until I have the personal satisfaction of a job well done. To me, that means exceeding your expectations.
