Former Field Engineer from a large software company turned Cyber Security Engineer. I spent 15 years in the field, which gave me the opportunity to travel all over Colorado and work with some amazing people across several industries. I'm really proud of what I was able to learn and accomplish in this job, but cyber security whispered in my ear for years, and I finally decided to answer. I began studying it in earnest about 5 years ago and made it official by completing the HUNT Analytics program at Flat Iron School in Denver. I was selected as team leader for our Capstone Project. I currently work maintaining Internet availability by detecting and taking down DDoS attacks on backbone circuits.
