Spearheading a revolutionary experience for our emerging multi-cloud data management solution, CloudPoint. Showcasing end to end fit and finish for the mid-market customer demanding a turnkey, point-and-click experience from unboxing to renewal. Launched CloudPoint 2.0 in February 2018 with a full redesign and modernized code base, streamlining data protection with Google Cloud’s native snapshot capabilities. Utilizing usability research, telemetric data and our now modernized front-end framework down merged from the open source community to redesign all products across the portfolio for simple, free & frictionless, integrated experiences for the full catalog of products.

Led the global CX/UX transformation from an afterthought area to a leading, strategic organization responsible for all experiences across the Veritas product portfolio. Centralized a multi-tiered, 50 employee organization of Management, Software Engineering, Interaction Design, Usability Research, Program Management, and Copywriting. Modernized the Veritas front-end code base with UI standards using the latest versions of Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, SCSS, and TS with CICD/DevOps leveraging Stash, virtual machine containers with Bitbucket, Jenkins and Rancher. Changed the Veritas culture to a design-driven model, engineering based off market demand and preference. Created partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and the Executive Staff to ensure customer and partner experiences with Veritas are at the forefront of our our investment decisions.

Led an agile transformation for a full-stack software development organization of 45 employees who delivered single sign-on for the Veritas portfolio and Hyper-V Block Level Incremental Backups and Accelerator for Hyper-V 2016 for NetBackup 8.0. Pitched and led a pilot innovation incubator made up of 6 hand-picked, top talent employees. Leveraged Lean Canvas and coached Software Engineers and Product Managers how to form, pitch and execute on lean business cases. Delivered multiple prototypes and successfully delivered a major enhancement to Veritas's data classification functionality. Explored API management solutions and prototyped a gateway through WSO2's open source to enable an API economy.

Expanded the organization into Pune, India and Mountain View, California to an organization of 30 employees in high demand by the R&D organization. The team played a critical role in the delivery of NetBackup 7.7.2 and continuing to coach and train across the organization, Symantec partners and the Agile Community.

While maintaining the role of Release Program Manager for the launch of NetBackup 7.7, also pitched, piloted, and lead a department of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. Focused on scale by rolling out an internal open source operating model to over 700 employees including Software Engineers, Product Owners/Managers, Software Development Managers, Quality Assurance, User Experience Engineers and Architects. This model is geared toward autonomy, subject matter expertise and empowerment throughout our Product Development organization. Cultivated a shared understanding of how to rapidly and consistently deliver value-rich solutions through relentless improvement utilizing constant team and self evaluation.

Managed a large-scale initiative, building differentiating Information Management solutions for Symantec’s Enterprise NetBackup customers. Leading and coaching a Waterfall to Agile transformation of 70 scrum teams comprised of over 700 engineers in 3 US locations, Pune, India and Beijing, China. Facilitated Scrum of Scrums meetings and weekly updates to Executive Staff. Teamed with Engineering Directors, Technical Architects, Product Management and individual scrum teams in partnership to develop strategies and execute under Agile methodologies to achieve higher quality, shorter release cycles and better software guided by iterative feedback loops.

Focused on multi-channel category strategy for Target.com & Mobile and Target Ticket digital movie service. Leveraged customer research, 3rd party analysis, data analytics, and competitive benchmarking to strategically enhance and innovate Target’s digital platform functionality roadmap for online, tablet, mobile and in store initiatives to enable best-in-class experiences for the user while driving business value.

Chosen strategist on a pilot team to dive deep into specific categories across all digital channels to drive software product roadmaps toward Target.com & Mobile profitability. Lead the vision, prioritization and communication of multi-channel shopping experiences in collaboration with executive leadership, product management, business, marketing, and development.

Managed all front-end development work on a page performance initiative using Agile methodologies, which brought Target.com from Keynote’s Retail Index into the Top 10 fastest homepage load speeds and received the Innovation Award from the Sr. Vice President Sr. Vice President. Executed a full redesign of the Target.com homepage, which gained lift in conversion, direct vendor marketing revenue, and page performance in speed and stability. Introduced the Target Debit Card to Target.com in the first release after Target’s Everest project to take Target.com in-house.

Lead role on a team of 4 Project Managers responsible for all Microsoft Office operations, the highest revenue generating program at Digital River to date. Launched the Microsoft Office 2010 global online store across 248 countries in 37 languages, the largest Microsoft product launch to date - Awarded by Digital River’s CEO for the company’s “Team of The Quarter” Summer 2010. Released Digital River’s first AT&T online store, which sold Microsoft software as a joint venture. Liaison between business and operational groups ensuring project scope satisfies approved requirements. Showcased talent management and cross-functional leadership with on and offshore teams to obtain and allocate resources appropriately, execute deliverables on time, and update executive staff.

Managed custom development e-Commerce projects driving revenue for Digital River’s largest client. Executed Waterfall and Agile (SCRUM) development lifecycle methodologies. Delivered scope throughout the projects’ lifecycle to meet agreed upon commitments and timelines. Mentored a Project Manager in Digital River’s London, England office explaining process and inspirational leadership techniques.

Acted as the Digital River business owner for the Symantec North America e-Commerce account grossing $80 Million in annual sales. Managed Digital River’s Extended Download Service product grossing over $350k/week and consistently staying well above set quota threshold. Successfully launched 27 site optimization tests increasing conversion, user experience satisfaction and direct marketing performance. Member of the Client Revenue Team across the Marketing Department.

Sold and managed Westlaw, the company’s flagship online legal research product. Consulted with attorneys by tailoring their new and existing online products to optimize their user experience. Work included partnership with field representatives, account managers, reference attorneys and the marketing department to assess and fulfill customer needs. In my department of 12 members, I was the top performer and achieved 130% of my quarterly quota.

Selected for a pilot sales team selling a new online legal education product. Analyzed the site and customer feedback while collaborating with our web design team to create a more efficient and effective site. My sales were successful hitting 110% of quota, closing $191k. 1 of 2 representatives to meet every quarterly quota in 2006.

Worked in lockstep with Field Sales Representatives scheduling appointments with law firms for sales and account management regarding our legal research products. In my department of 29 employees, I was the top performer and achieved 153% of quota in my 6 months before being promoted.
