Most of my career circles around studying the consumer - why they buy, what they think about brands, what they like and don't like, etc. This information is utilized throughout organizations - including the sales process, customer service, account management, product development and innovation. To gather this information, many tools have been used including online consumer panels, market segmentation, traditional online and phone surveys, focus groups, shop-alongs, call center customer recordings, eye-tracking and ethnographic studies. I have taken my analytical and leadership skills into Marketing Communications, Customer Service, Human Resources and data-related IT functions over time - studying associates, building associate engagement intiatives, cleaning customer databases, and utilizing a variety of data to improve human capital efficiencies and leadeship. My career consists of several places and roles, but my leadership and management style has always been consistent - having a foundation of teaching, learning and giving back and I'm proud of the many individuals and organizations that I've been associated with and had success with over time.
