Currently the Director of Finance and Decision Support at Jospeh Brant Hospital, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hospital.Previously a Senior Manager in the KPMG Hamilton, Ontario office with 17 years of experience providing services to clients in a variety of industries including Credit Unions, Real Estate, Health Care, Not-for-Profit, Aboriginal, Manufacturing and Distribution, Automotive and Education. I focus on IFRS, ASPE and NPO accounting standards. I completed projects throughout Canada and the US, including secondments with public and private companies providing internal audit services, Sarbanes-Oxley testing and reviews, accounting process control reviews and IFRS transitional services. I am the local Hamilton resource for financial instrument matters, including hedge accounting and securitization accounting.I was primarily involved in projects throughout Ontario, serving my clients from Windsor through the GTA.I am an active member of my community having been involved in a number of organizations and boards including United Way, GenNext United Way, Canadian Cancer Society, and Hamilton District CA Association. I am currently the treasurer of the Hamilton Tiger-Cat Athletic Trust. The Trust supports Hamilton’s local amateur sports activities.
