Guru Music (formerly Guitar Dreams school of Music) is the banner that I hang the many hats that i wear in the Music business. I have been teaching guitar and theory privately and at tertiary level since day one. I have performed extensively throughout NZ and around the world in either my old original rock band SCARF, we achieved a top 10 hit in the early 90's and from 94' on as a solo rock instrumental guitarist. I ran/owned from 97' to 2000' my own production studio. It's primary business was developing up and coming artists to get signed. I am still an active working studio musician. Guru Music became a physical reality in 2001 when i opened my shop on Cuba St in Wellington. It was a hub for teachers and visual artists to work their craft. I had a 4 year lease and many great and crazy artistic things happened through out that time. It was Epic! Today, you can catch me performing in an Acoustic Duo with my wife Sheree (You & Me), we play regularly around the Manawatu. Or you may find me playing solo instrumental jazz (dinner music) for corporate clients. Guru Music also imports and sells select musical instruments. And I arrange buyers from my extensive contacts list for rare and vintage 2nd hand instruments.

I wrote the course material for guitar practical and guitar related music theory. Both levels, Certificate and Diploma. In essence they incorporated my Guitar Dreams School of Music teaching resources into the Tai Poutini (Mainz) programme.
