My primary roll was do assure that Stone tiles inbound to the RDC were in face the correct material as well as the quality we had requested. I put together a very extensive program that trained the Stone receivers how to inspect and what to look for with Stone tile products to determine if the material was what we requested.I also trained 2 other RDC personal the same process to receive Stone tile. I walked into about 1.5 Million in quality hold and no one knew why the material was on hold, I sorted through all the material that was o hold and was able to release most of the material and some we sold off at a discount. This took about 8 months to complete, we did achieve the goal and have managed out Quality hold on Stone tiles ever since.I have held many different rolls at the RDC including LTL supervisor and receiving,
