It was founded in Japan and is one of the country's most well-known home-grown tech companies.In my latter years there, I worked on the Data Engineering Team in their US office where I proactively maintained and improved the company's data pipeline, statistical ETL process, and numerous internal dashboards. I worked at the Tokyo Headquarters doing agile development on the GREE Platform's primary user-facing web portal, a large-scale PHP system. I worked on many projects to improve the accuracy and experience for users to search for games, pre-register for yet-to-be-released games, be recommended existing games based on their playing habits, and more.
