Partnered with UNIX management to secure UNIX staff to perform work, coordinate outages with database customers residing on servers. • PM Oracle effort to patch 700 Oracle databases and 180 database servers. • Led Oracle and SQLServer training effort with external vendor. Set course schedule, communicated courses via internal communications and IT Weekly. Classes scheduled monthly for 30 seats. Reviewed contracts and submit for signatures by Sr Database Services management. • Led quarterly Oracle and UNIX password change for oracle accounts. Updated/created process documents and plans for changing passwords. Led team of five DBAs to execute plan, report status to Oracle management. • Provided Oracle Identify Management support and application administration. Self-assigned HPSM and ITG tickets in OiM queue and address and close tickets daily. Migrated current OiM application to new Data Center.

• Led staff of five development DBAs both on-shore and off-shore in support of 200+plus Oracle, SQLServer, DB2, and Sybase databases, including large data warehouses, critical to UHGs OptumHealth Care applications. • Partnered with UHG Enterprise Technology area (UNIX, Engineering, Production DBAs, Storage, Data Protection) to build and document a robust infrastructure solution for our supported databases, ensuring a standard infrastructure configuration, database build, and backup/restore process.• Introduced internal team policies and procedures based on ITIL Service Delivery methodology to all of OptumHealth Care Technical Architecture Staff, not just DBA team, to manage requests to ensure accountability and timely delivery. Developed resource management reports to show intake, time entry, and utilization metrics to measure our success.• Developed and presented operations methodology capabilities to OptumHealth Care senior business leaders to recruit new customers to serve and support.
