Responsible for launching new products, supporting existing production, relaying out the factory to increase capacity for growing assembly lines and new products.

Coordinated the new product launch for the $700M in annual sales Medium Voltage and Motor Control business.● Led a diverse team of 16 engineers, located in five countries around the globe, to introduce new highly configured and engineered to order products.● Ensured team met the project schedule, target cost, quality goals and provided training documentation and onsite training if needed.● Oversaw the smooth introduction of new products into eight global factories. ● Utilized tools such as Process Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), Design for Assembly (DFA), product cost analysis, assembly acceptance form and various lean tools.

Worked with project team and off-site facilities to build new electronic power products. This includes manufacturability review, cost estimating, process FMEA, DFA, financial justification, assembly line set-up, pilot and first six months of production. ● Debugged stamping tooling, injection mold dies and die casting tooling. ● Coordinated the build of new circuit board assemblies and prototype units.

Led manufacturing operation for a $120M/year business. Developed a short- and long term strategy to meet business needs.● Managed 250 hourly people, Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, nine supervisors, 12 engineers, and 10 technicians.● Set goals and monitored production output, quality levels, on time shipments, productivity, scrap, rework, inventory, safety, ergonomics, 5S program, Kaizen events, productivity improvements and $10M annual financial budgets.

Led manufacturing operations for three assembly departments, injection molding department and maintenance department. Developed strategies to build stock and move personnel to support assembly line transfers.● Responsible for 175 union and non-union hourly people, 10 supervisors, three planners, two technicians and one engineer on a three shift operation.● Set goals and monitor production output, quality levels, on time shipments, scrap, rework, 5S program, safety, ergonomics, stock builds, inventory reductions and $10M annual expense budgets.
