• Manage the Manufacturing/Industrial and Automation Engineering departments in the development and sustainability of new and existing production lines.• Develop business cases with justification for projects that increase quality and output while decreasing cost across JMA facility and organizations.• Responsible for tracking and reporting on all manufacturing related improvements, processes, controls and projects.• Support continuous product launches in a growth environment.• Facilitating variance reduction through setup and productivity improvements and track improvements for sustainability• Coordinating with Maintenance or vendors for the installation, repair, upgrade, or removal of equipment to minimize impact to production.• Anticipate and solve equipment and process problems using assigned resources in a timely manner.• Lead in the identification of new process, new equipment and equipment suppliers.• Provide technical assistance to production operations and design engineering in facilitating daily demands and requirements for the continued success of the company.• Assist JMA in minimizing its impact on the environment and preventing pollution through recycling efforts defined in the waste management programs and ensuring chemicals are managed in a manner that prevents spills.

- Work with Global Product Manager to produce and update GATE documents to drive engineering development for all new product opportunities- Collaborate with design engineering to identify feature improvements and cost saving opportunities- Maintain the product road map, and partner with Global Product Manager to prioritize development of new products- Transfer knowledge base to the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Applications teams to ensure product value proposition is clear and realized in market- Visit customers and support Sales to understand their needs, solicit feedback on early stage products, and support trial activities to justify product value proposition - Work with marketing prior to new product launches to develop sales tools and training aids for both internally and externally- Participate in Sales & Operations forecasting activities for all transmission line products- Minimize slow moving inventory via promotional selling as well work with internal inventory teamwork

• Design various types of industrial equipment and machinery for use in forging, molding, pressing, and material handling applications for manufacturing industries across the country using Autodesk Inventor 2016 software• Responsible for assisting in the development of the entire system concept and the full integration of the mechanical, combustion, controls portions of each project with the help of the rest of the design team and senior engineers• Coordinate tasks in a timely fashion to generate new machine designs, improve existing designs, and march the project through the entire engineering process• Assist sales team and management with the development of proposals for perspective jobs• Assist design team with the Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) using CADWorx P&ID 2016 Software• Assist design team with the combustion calculations as well as fluid dynamics calculations for sizing of pipes• Assist design team with heat transfer calculations to finalize refractory designs• Assist clients and project managers with 2D floor layouts using Autodesk AUTOCAD Mechanical 2016 Software• Run structural analysis using Autodesk Inventor 2016 to generate detailed reports• Responsible for sizing and selecting appropriate purchased mechanical components such as cylinders, valves, bearings, etc. • Troubleshoot with assembly and manufacturing groups• Work hand in hand with production engineers to ensure that there is as much DFMA integrated into the final design as possible to drive manufacturing and assembly costs down

• Design end-of-the-line packaging equipment for use in paper, food, plastics, industrial, personal care and pharmaceutical industries using Inventor 2013 software• Specialize in designs of conveyors, laning systems, End-Of-Arm-Tools for Fanuc Robots, and case packing ancillary sub-systems• Incorporate standard pneumatic and control components (sensors, valves, flow controls) into overall system design• Design all manufactured parts with the goal of minimizing total manufacturing operations per part and material costs without compromising the part's intended functionality and rigidity• Procure purchased components for projects using existing vendor and OEM connections• Order in-house manufactured parts using the MRP/ERP system• Maintain an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) by confirming that the 3D model coincides with the purchased and manufactured parts on the actual machine• Constant communication with the customer using approval drawings to ensure 3D models coincide with the customer's existing AutoCAD 2012 floor plans and design specifications• Ensure that all designs meet project scope, cost, and deadlines while exceeding the agreed productivity goals all whilst operating under safety codes (ANSI B155.1-1973) • Provide direction and support to manufacturing and service personnel, both in house and in the field, as required for correct execution of designs• Simulate robot paths using Fanuc animation software to find the optimal values robot height, location, path, and speed• Perform FEA analysis on robot bases and other high stress areas to provide design feedback and recommendations
