Military Lead Test Pilot for the Presidential Helicopter Integrated Test Team (ITT) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. Qualified in EH-101 Merlin series helicopters (US military designation VH-71). Completed EH-101 ground and flight training at Agusta-Westland facility in Yeovil, England and Instructor Pilot training in Vergiate, Italy. Primary responsibility was to pilot VH-71 Test Vehicles as Experimental Test Pilot and Instructor Pilot. As the government’s senior pilot, managed the training, qualification, and performance of all ITT pilots, both government and contractor.

Flight Test Director and Lead Test Pilot for the MH-60R Integrated Test Team (ITT). Led the ITT through MH-60R Developmental Test Phases II-D and II-E (TECHEVAL) resulting in certification of the MH-60R for Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) and subsequent Navy certification as Operationally Effective and Suitable. Accountable for technical management and leadership of the Developmental Test and Evaluation program, its day-to-day direction, and performance of this 100+ person team.

Hmas Darwin / Freemantle, Western Australia

Selected for assignment in the Personnel Exchange Program to serve with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Completed conversion training at 816 Squadron, Nowra, New South Wales, with subsequent assignment as S-70B-2 senior pilot and Aviation Department Head on HMAS DARWIN (FFG-04), an Adelaide Class frigate. Completed two deployment cycles as the only Yankee among the ship's fine crew.
