We also worked with Mongo and/or PostgreSQL databases to ensure transactions were accurately persisted and reported. I worked with other QA engineers to automate the browser smoke tests using Selenium. After a year, I accepted a position on the Data and Analytics team. The Data team is responsible for daily client reporting using a mix of PySpark and Python script Glue Jobs. Client reporting consists of daily transaction and monthly analytics reports. I also prepared monthly billing reports for our internal Finance team. This was a manual process that I automated with Python and Jupyter Notebooks, saving days of work every month for the team. Other tasks include deployments to multiple environments via Jenkins, working with AWS console apps to diagnose issues and assisting other engineers with reporting and database needs.• Use PyCharm to manage reports framework and for database work• Use AWS Console to run monitor and diagnose issues with Glue jobs• Use AWS QuickSight to prepare analytics report for clients.
