I've been President & CEO of American Riviera Bank/Bancorp (OTCQX: ARBV) since 2008. The Bank has grown from one branch in Santa Barbara and less than $100 million of assets to seven branches in the Central Coast of California with $1.3 billion in assets.My 30+ years in banking has been a journey from part-time teller while in college to CEO of American Riviera Bank/Bancorp. I've held positions at banks both big and small in commercial, retail, private and investment banking. Without a doubt, working for an independent community bank that makes a difference in its community each and every day is the most rewarding place to be. We encourage our team members at the Bank to volunteer in the community. I'm past President and current board member of the Lobero Theatre Foundation, Steering Committee member and former Co-Chair of the South Coast Business and Technology Awards Dinner, and President-Elect of the California Community Banking Network trade association where I serve in a legislative outreach role. I enjoy distance running and have competed in eight marathons with a personal best of 3:00:26 in 2012 when I was younger and faster. In 2019, I ran the Boston Marathon as a 50 year old.
