For 9 1/2 Years, I had been employed as a Senior Facility/Project Manager for the Florida area of healthfirst, New York. This job enabled me to become more in tune with the healthcare industry while I sharpened my skills in the facility & project management field. While employed with healthfirst I was responsible for the space management of over 383,000 square feet of office space to include the work order tracking system, equipment and supplies inventory and tracking database, as well as the Archibus/AutoCAD space management database for the entire company of 4500 employees, this included the space management for over 2 dozen facility locations in three states. For 71/2 years I was also responsible for the project management of 6 entire building floor renovation projects while working at Healthfirst. These were entire floor demos and remodels to accommodate over 220 office cubes and executive offices per floor, this also includes two critical DATA centers per floor as well as a Main Critical back up Data center for our site and our New York Corporate site, as well as a new whole building backup generator. I was also responsible for all BAS, and CCMS systems for the location to include security, video and card reader access systems, I was responsible for all technical writing and product knowledge information for all new products installed at our various sites. I Maintained and directed operations of $ 300,000 annual budget for location. I was the AutoCAD product authority for the company and was responsible for teaching and administering AutoCAD system and software to other facility managers within the company.
