Joined Gentiva to direct and manage Indianapolis Hospice region. Responsibilities include: P&L, performance management, recruiting, training, business plan development, establishing and maintaining standards of high quality care and customer service in compliance with state and federal guidelines and regulations. Also, meeting growth and developmental targets and management of all expenditures. • 2010 Odyssey/VistaCare Company consolidated and purchased by Gentiva. • 2010 Inherited 45 employee/40 volunteer program; Census at 109. • 2011 Added Continuous/Crisis Care program; developed and enhanced GIP program; created and developed contracts with key LTC chain facilities and Hospitals. Aforementioned resulted in increased census to 130.• 2011 Program staffing increased to 85 employee/75 volunteer program to appropriately align with growth. • 2012 Refined teams and consolidated geography to maximize productivity and increased census to 175. • 2012 Created partnership with local healthcare executives in LTC, Hospital systems, DME, and Pharmacy to examine reimbursement trends and to create action plans to offset changing rules and guidelines set by CMS. • 2012 Acquired preferred provider status in chain account business.

Started from ground floor and hired Regional Operations and Clinical Staff to grow psychotherapy and medication management practices in Indiana. Increased business five fold in under three years and patient volumes over 400%. Working with National/Regional chain accounts, identified new facilities within specified geographic areas to prioritize and maximize productivity. Obtained provider agreements with these facilities to provide VeriCare core services.

Responsible for West Coast Long Term Care operations. Brought this region from last to first in the nation with regard to sales and revenue growth. Central to gaining access to our largest Pharmacy partner and growing business through educational partnerships and reaching a larger portion of the LTC community.
