Continuing the development and application of 3D Tech involving Additive Manufacturing.With a degree in Engineering Design & Technology from UCF due to his passion for innovative design and developing manufacturing technologies - he forged ahead. His involvement in 3D Tech began at Mydea Technologies, a Rapid Product Development, Rapid Prototyping and Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing Firm where he helped to grow the company into a leading position within the industry at the time. He wore many hats at Mydea including Design Engineer, Applications Engineer, Project Engineer and Business Manager.When Mydea was absorbed by Innovative Medical Device Solutions (IMDS) he used his knowledge of Rapid Prototyping and Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing to help develop and improve medical devices such as orthopedic implants and surgical instruments. Following, he worked as a lead Mechanical Engineer at Q4 Services, designing and manufacturing new and innovative visual displays for flight simulators and other simulator types for clients across the globe. After leaving Q4, Jeff entered a contract engineering/consulting role and also worked as an Applications Engineer for multiple 3D technologies with EMS, Inc. After gaining a high degree of knowledge in AM, RP/3D Printing & 3D Scanning from an engineering perspective, Jeff decided it was time to move into a consulting/business development role to further expand the use of these technologies. Currently, he has taken on a Strategic Accounts Management position with with focus on Aerospace and Defense industries with improving both the speed and the method at which complex components can be produced with promoting the unparalleled online auto-quoting platform offered through Xometry.
