Civil Project Manager/Chief Estimator responsible for accurately estimating projects and for closely monitoring the job to ensure projects are profitable. Preparing thorough and timely estimates for commercial, private, institutional, healthcare, recreational, local public agency and state projects. Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor proposals and scopes of work. Key duties include qualifying leads, developing a deep understanding of project specifications and how to best address them, along with creating relationships with prospective clients. Responsibilities 1. Detailed project estimation/takeoff for proposal preparation.2. Negation of scope of services, assisting with necessary descoping and project value engineering. 3. Development, submission, and follow up for RFI’s.14. AutoCAD drafting, and development of layout files and conversions with Trimble survey software and field equipment. Record drawings and record file development.15. Problem solving and ability to work under pressure in a high productive environment.16. Permitting and development of pertinent permitting documentation. 17. Close out documentation and project records.
