Reported to and supported the Chief Financial Officer. Created all financial schedules to provide insight and clarity to monthly financial performance. Directed worldwide budgeting and forecasting effort for organization with $100 million plus in annual sales. Supervised one Financial Analyst. Conducted due diligence for several acquisition targets including the purchase and launch of the SmartPractice Japan Company with $20 million in revenue. Devised a complete business plan for Japan with detailed financial projections (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) which led to our ability to solidify $7 million in financing from Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi. Breadth of role in Japan included serving as Statutory Auditor, establishing internal controls, providing on-going financial support and operational guidance. Developed proposals and negotiated with Licensors (e.g. Disney, Nickelodeon, etc.) to acquire intellectual property rights worldwide.
