As Chief Operations Officer (COO) I create & set strategic goals for our company and develop business growth strategies. I also develop and integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent and oversee all company policy-making to promote a culture of learning and inclusion. I work closely with our company's department heads in order to help them solve complex problems and to inspire them to blaze new trails. I take on big, new challenges head-on and work hard to build new skills so we may can "Make It Happen" and realize our company's mission: to help, inform and inspire.My accomplishments in 2022 include:- Led group leadership meetings and creative problem solving sessions to address urgent and important company problems, including: regulation and inventory tracking changes, safety policy updates and staff training on navigating difficult guest interactions. - Authored 14 blogs for marketing and educational purposes as well as a training manual detailing the history, laws, science and applications of cannabis. - Established a CX department and defined current scope of its work.- Identified and solved for sources of labor cost inflation related to PTO-specific policies. - Designed 4/20 and Holiday promotions that led to record sales during those periods.

I accepted an offer from Pacific Science Center shortly before graduating from The University of Arizona, where I'd been a Graduate Teaching Assistant for their Astronomy department for 3 years. I developed youth and adult training workshops & co-wrote a planetarium program. I left the Pacific Science Center in order to pursue an outstanding opportunity in leadership and adult education at Hashtag Cannabis.

I was hired as a Graduate Teaching Assistant by the university's Education department to assist in the instruction and research of the Astronomy department's introductory, general-education astronomy course entitled "ASTR170B1 - The Physical Universe". From 2012 to 2014, I assisted in the instruction of over two-thousand college students in Tucson's largest performing arts venue, Centennial Hall. I also analyzed and communicated students' learning outcomes to the professors I worked with. I left upon graduation to join Pacific Science Center's team of science educators.

I joined CAE straight from college and learned a tremendous amount about education research there. I led CAE's Lecture-Tutorial Coherency Project, designed coding rubrics and trained undergraduate students to code data for the project. My proudest accomplishment at CAE was presenting the results of our research at the 219th American Astronomers Society (AAS) International Conference. We shared our findings and their impact with astronomers and educators from around the world.
